The chip is in slightly used condition as all the chips going around are. The edges are sharp and this chip has barely seen any action and is very clean. I only included one photo of the poker chip because the front and back are the same and there is no real difference in the quality of one side or the other. I was at the Rio for over a month and collected several chips while I was there playing and this is a chip that a LOT of people took home with them. Before long they will be VERY hard to find. I would not be surprised to see the value go up quite a bit considering how many players were taking them home with them because of it being the 50th anniversary of the tournament. Not to mention that there are strong rumors that the Rio will be the next casino to be imploded to make room for a baseball stadium. When talking to the staff while I was there they were saying that it is pretty likely that the Rio may host the WSOP next year, but not after that. Caesars is working on a huge convention center near the Linq and this is where the WSOP will be at maybe next year, but for sure after that. So it is possible that this was the last time the WSOP will be held at the Rio and this could be the last commemorative chip for the WSOP with the Rio name on it. Read about it in this article here.
