Antique civil war era clay poker chips with primitive handmade box. Fine cracks on the lid do not go through to other side. For some reason, it says (handwritten in pencil) No. 964 1″ black frame” which doesn’t seem to pertain to this box. Chips are a little over 3/4 in diameter. Box is 6 1/2″ long with lid on, 2 3/4″tall and 1 1/4 tall. The box is stable but is a little hard to close. The lid sticks out a bit from the end when closed. There is wear consistent with its age. Please examine pictures closely as they are the most important description of the items.
