Antique 1920s Poker Chips Set 237 Total Clay Chips + 2 Decks Of Vintage Cards. Very beautiful antique poker set, my best estimate of the age is mid to late 1920s, possibly early 1930s. Gorgeous dark wood case with brass handle. 2 card deck slots and 12 chip slots. There are in total 237 chips, I believe them to be clay, they are certainly not plastic or Bakelite. They have a really smooth, heavy, rich feel to them. Very similar to casino chips but even nicer in my opinion. The chips are mostly Crown chips, however there are others in the mix and I will break that down below. 89 white crown chips. 35 black crown chips. 30 red crown chips. 1 red 901 chip. 2 white beehive chips. 4 black beehive chips. 5 red beehive chips. 14 black flower chips. 8 black plain unmarked chips. 15 red plain unmarked chips. 38 white plain unmarked chips. The chips are all in very good condition, they do show their age with wear and tear, surface detail loss, occasional small chips, etc. The cards should be swapped with a nicer period set of bicycles or something similar to really complete the look, however these ones included are fairly old and pretty neat on their own, they do show signs of heavy use, bending, rips, chips, folds, dirt, etc, etc. So keep that in mind.
